Refund Policy
Last Updated: May 20, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC handles refunds, returns, cancellations, deposits, special orders, service concerns, and related customer requests. Because tire and automotive services often involve labor, installed parts, special-order products, safety-related components, and vehicle-specific work, refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase or service performed. By purchasing products, authorizing service, placing a special order, or using our website to request products or services, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Business Information

2. General Policy
CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC is committed to fair customer service and clear communication. If you have a concern about a product, service, estimate, invoice, or completed repair, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review the situation and work with you in a reasonable and professional manner.
Refunds are not automatic and may depend on product condition, installation status, supplier rules, manufacturer warranty terms, labor performed, inspection results, and the facts of the transaction.
3. Service Labor
Labor charges are generally non-refundable once service work has been performed. This includes, but is not limited to:
• Tire installation labor
• Tire mounting
• Tire balancing
• Wheel alignment labor
• Oil change labor
• Brake service labor
• Diagnostic labor
• Inspection labor
• Battery replacement labor
• Suspension or mechanical repair labor
• Farm equipment or commercial tire service labor
If a customer believes there is a problem with completed service, the customer should contact CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC promptly.
4. Installed Parts
Installed parts are generally not eligible for a cash refund once installed, unless required by applicable law or covered under a manufacturer or supplier warranty. Installed parts may include tires, brake pads, rotors, batteries, filters, belts, hoses, sensors, suspension parts, TPMS components, fluids, and other automotive components.
If an installed part is defective, the remedy may be handled under manufacturer warranty, supplier warranty, shop warranty, or another applicable warranty process.
5. Tires
Tire purchases are vehicle-specific and size-specific. Refund eligibility for tires depends on whether the tire has been installed, driven on, damaged, altered, special ordered, or returned in resaleable condition.
Unused tires may be considered for return if:
• The tire has not been mounted or installed
• The tire has not been driven on
• The tire is clean and undamaged
• The tire is in original saleable condition
• The return is requested within a reasonable time
• The tire is not a special-order or non-returnable item
• The supplier or manufacturer allows return
Mounted, installed, used, damaged, or special-order tires may not be eligible for refund.
6. Special Orders
Special orders may require a deposit or full prepayment. Special-order deposits may be non-refundable once the order has been placed with a supplier. Special-order items may not be returnable if the supplier does not accept returns or if the item was ordered specifically for the customer's vehicle, equipment, or request.
Customers should confirm product details before approving a special order.
7. Deposits
Deposits may be required for special-order tires, parts, equipment-related products, large jobs, or scheduled service requiring ordered materials.
Deposits may be non-refundable if:
• Parts or tires have already been ordered
• The supplier charges cancellation or restocking fees
• The customer cancels after the order is placed
• The product is special-order or non-returnable
• CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC has incurred costs based on the customer's authorization
8. Cancellations
Customers should contact CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. For special orders or larger jobs, cancellation after authorization may result in loss of deposit, restocking fees, supplier fees, shipping costs, or other non-refundable charges.
9. Diagnostic Fees
Diagnostic fees are generally non-refundable once diagnostic time has been performed. A diagnostic fee does not guarantee that a repair will be simple, inexpensive, or completed without additional parts or labor.
10. Alignments
Wheel alignment charges are generally non-refundable once alignment work has been performed. If a customer reports an alignment-related concern shortly after service, CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC may review the vehicle and determine whether recheck or adjustment is appropriate.
Alignment results may be affected by worn suspension parts, steering components, tire condition, prior damage, vehicle modifications, road impacts, or other vehicle-specific factors.
11. Brake Services
Brake service refunds are evaluated based on parts installed, labor performed, vehicle condition, and customer concern. Brake noise, vibration, pedal feel, or stopping performance may be affected by several factors, including rotor condition, caliper function, driving conditions, break-in procedure, hardware, and related components.
If a brake concern occurs after service, the customer should contact CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC promptly for review.
12. Batteries
Battery returns may be subject to manufacturer warranty terms, testing requirements, proof of purchase, and product condition. Installed batteries may not be eligible for cash refund but may be eligible for warranty replacement or prorated warranty support depending on the battery manufacturer's terms.
13. Fluids, Filters, and Maintenance Items
Fluids, filters, chemicals, shop supplies, and maintenance items are generally non-refundable once used or installed. This includes oil, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, filters, cleaners, and related consumable products.
14. Farm Equipment, Tractor, Earthmover, and Commercial Tire Services
Farm equipment, tractor, earthmover, and commercial tire services are often specialized and may involve special-order products, service time, equipment handling, supplier costs, and non-standard labor. Refund eligibility for these services will be reviewed case by case.
Special-order farm, tractor, commercial, or equipment tires may be non-refundable once ordered or installed.
15. Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may include manufacturer warranties. Warranty coverage is determined by the manufacturer's written terms and may require inspection, proof of purchase, proper use, maintenance records, or other documentation.
CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC may assist customers with applicable warranty review, but final warranty approval may depend on the manufacturer, supplier, or warranty provider.
16. Customer-Supplied Parts
If CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC agrees to install customer-supplied parts, those parts may not be covered by the shop's parts warranty. Labor on customer-supplied parts may be limited or excluded from warranty depending on the circumstances.
17. Incorrect Information Provided by Customer
Refunds may be denied or limited if a product or service issue results from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, such as incorrect tire size, wrong vehicle details, undisclosed modifications, prior damage, or incomplete service history.
18. Inspection Required
Before any refund, credit, adjustment, warranty review, or correction is approved, CO-OP TIRE & AUTO LLC may require inspection of the vehicle, tires, parts, invoice, and service records. Customers should not remove, alter, discard, or replace disputed parts before contacting us, as doing so may affect refund or warranty eligibility.
19. Processing Approved Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued using the original payment method when possible. Approved refunds may exclude:
• Labor already performed
• Special-order fees
• Restocking fees
• Shipping fees
• Disposal fees
• Shop supplies
• Taxes where not refundable
• Fees charged by suppliers or payment processors
20. No Guarantee of Refund
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. Each request will be reviewed based on the transaction, product condition, service performed, applicable warranties, supplier policies, and relevant law.
